The Feathers Group have recently acquired Thistle House, a substantial 8 storey office block sited adjacent to the Queen Hotel.
Work started on 12th January 2008, to convert this property into a 87 bedroom extension of the Queen Hotel creating superb new “5 Star” converted bedrooms with every conceivable luxury. This will take around 6 months costing approximately 12 million pounds.
The building will enjoy a newly created link between it and the Queen Hotel, this link will also incorporate an extension to the existing Bacchus Restaurant to accommodate additional dining requirements coupled to a new drinks on arrival/J28 style lounge environment on the existing side elevation of the existing Colonnades Conference and Banqueting Suite. |
