Sefton Park Liverpool
Sefton Park is a public park in south Liverpool beside the hotel. The park is 640 acres in area and has been designated a Grade II* Historic Park by English Heritage making it one of three such parks in the city, along with the nearby Princes Park. The park has also been a site for Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra’s summer pops season, Africa Oyé and the Moscow State Circus.
The Best Western Alicia Hotel is located directly across the road from Sefton Park.
Within the park you will find Sefton Park Palm House, a building of unusual architecture built to extraordinary engineering precision. Formal bedding within the grounds brings a spot of color, established plants from around the world creates a vibrant inside. Statues displayed within and guarding the perimeter hint at Liverpool’s creative and trading history as a city and port.
